James Franco Rides into Sundance with Kink
two three films on show at Sundance 2012: Kink, and Interior. Leather. Bar & acts in Lovelace. I can see kids doing a thesis on what his (two produced) ones mean. Anyhow, to me it means two more interesting quirks from the ride that is Jamie Franco. I’ll call him Jamie as I’ve being writing up on ole Jamie forever. More than forever. Like it must be two years. I think his next project should be to go back and give us a hyper homoerotic Spiderman.

Jamie & Co.[director Christina Voro & Ian Olds], lift the “curtain on the fetish empire of Kink.com, the Internet’s largest producer of BDSM content.” I now know what BDSM is. Bloody heck, if you’ve gonna ever watch a film or documentary on it’s largest producer… still I don’t get it. But since the early days of film, much drivel and worse guises as entertainment. I’m open to a doc on bdsm in that at least it’s not pretending to be anything else, you get what it says on the tin by the looks of it.
“In kink, we discover not only a fascinating and often misunderstood subculture, but also, in a career far from the mainstream, a group of intelligent, charismatic, and driven people who really, truly love what they do.”
