The film Festival will run in venues across Kerry, Ireland from October 31 to November 7.
Acting legends legend Jeremy Irons and Kerry based actor Michael Fassbender have been named among the judges for this year’s tenth anniversary Kerry Film Festival.
They will be will join Irish visual effects artist Simon Brown and film and theatre critic James Christopher as judges for the short film competitions.
“James Christopher is one of the most respected film critics in the world and Chief Critic on The Times in the UK for many years and Simon Brown is a fantastic Irish animator, who was lead animator on the recent Ice Age films and also worked with James Cameron on the upcoming AVATAR,” Kerry Film Director Jason Festival O’Mahony.
Close to 500 films have been submitted to the 2009 Kerry Film Festival!
