Linda, well RTÉ is calling for Ireland entries for The Eurovision Song Contest 2010. Full details and rules here.
You do not have to be from Ireland to qualify for entry to the Irish competition to choose a song for Eurovision 2010.
RTÉ has decided to re-appoint the same five members as last year to the decision panel, chaired by Linda Martin. All five reflect different expertise both in the music industry and the Eurovision Song Contest itself. The other four members are: Julian Benson, choreographer; Mark Crossingham, MD Universal Music Ireland; Larry Gogan, broadcaster and Diarmuid Furlong, ESC expert and fan.
Linda won the Eurovision in 1992 with “Why Me”. I won’t pain you with it. Instead the classic (lol) song “Terminal Three” which she sung in the Eurovision in 1984, but didn’t win.
